The Podcast Project was exciting, nerve-wrecking and fulfilling. I felt a little unease to begin this project because I'm not the most tech-savvy. However, Professor Gatlin did a superb job at demonstrating the programs we would be using and how to put it all together. After taking my time to play with and understand the programs, putting the video podcast together was exhilarating. I gained a better sense of understanding as to who I am as an aspiring artist. I began with writing my script from the heart, trying to make a sense of the world in my head. I then shot photos of my studio space, artwork, and inspirations. Finally I was able to find the perfect meditative soundtrack to offer the sense of tranquility that I feel when I'm in my space creating freely. Seeing the music, photos, and words come together and to life- made me appreciate the process even more. Though there were small bumps in the road, like figuring out the correct Exporting format, I checked out other resources that could be of help, like Youtube, and successfully downloaded my Podcast. I feel confident about myself for understanding the technology points of view (in this project) to create a new form of artwork. I do hope you enjoy this video that goes into more detail about who I am as an individual and an artist.
